beaches visited!The magazine called it "the
Best Beach in New
Jersey", with its gentle surf, natural dunes, a wide beach, and good life guards. It
even has a small and well maintained boardwalk.
Only 3 1/2 hours from Washington and 30 minutes from Atlantic City, it's convenient to
get to or from for a short or long visit.

Beach chairs specifically designed for the handicapped, which are also
known as Surf Chairs, have been donated by the Women's Civic
Club of Avalon. They are available by reservation at the following locations:
